Having worked with Celestial filming their drone displays since 2020, a real highlight so far was being asked in March 2026 to film Europe’s largest drone display to date – a life-size 1:1 rendition of RMS Titanic, created from 950 drones reaching a length of 320 metres, to accompany the BBC docudrama ‘Titanic Sinks Tonight’, part of the UK-wide ‘Made of Here’ series. I flew a DJI Mavic 4 Pro while Ben Godlington flew a Darkstar FPV drone, & Celestial’s drone display unsurprisingly went viral, with the drones occupying the same airspace as that filled by the Titanic after she was launched in Belfast Harbour in 1912.
