In late 2021 I was invited to film the aerials for ‘Saving Christmas Spirit’, a project which took up much of December & January.

I loved working with the team, albeit remotely since principal filming had finished by the time I was brought on board, & it was fascinating to try & bring to life a Director & Director of Photography’s vision by carrying out lots of drone scenery filming each day, WeTransferring the rushes to the USA, & then discussing the previous day’s clips on Zoom the following day before heading off again & fine-tuning!

I flew both DJI Inspire 2s & DJI Mavic 3 Cines for the project, working in ProRes 422HQ throughout, with some additional footage in Fort William filmed using DJI’s Mini 2 drone.
