Having worked with Celestial for more than 3 years at nearly all their drone show events, it was a pleasure to be asked to film the Samsung Galaxy S24 launch which celebrated AI capabilities of the new phones.

It involved Celestial flying 550 drones in various galaxy and smartphone formations in front of London’s Canary Wharf skyline.

I flew a DJI Inspire 3 single operator, filming in 8K ProRes RAW, and the complexities of the airspace at this location meant arriving 24 hours in advance and obtaining unlock codes and personal firmware updates from DJI to allow me to take off.

St Mark’s Studios started editing the footage as soon as I landed, ready to be published immediately.
