Celestial was asked to produce a drone display to mark the beginning of Oasis’ world tour, the display featuring Oasis’ logo & comprising 470 drones with a display width of 120m & height of 105m. This took place in Cardiff on the eve of their first performance, on 2nd July 2025, with myself & Kirk Watson filming the display. I flew a DJI Inspire 3 in 8K RAW from close to the stadium, while Kirk flew a DJI Mavic 4 Pro from some distance away, making use of the M4P’s 70mm & 168mm lenses. The feedback from this event was so positive that Celestial was asked to produce the same drone display at each of the UK stadiums where Oasis would be playing, resulting in the addition of Heaton Park in Manchester, Wembley Stadium, & Murrayfield Stadium.

Richard Elliott Aerial Filming’s new FPV drone pilot Ben Godlington assisted with some Mavic shots at Wembley Stadium, & Ben excelled himself at Murrayfield by flying a DJI Avata 2 drone through the O of Oasis during the display, with a DJI Osmo Action Pro 5 camera fixed to the Avata 2 & filming the result.

When we were asked to add Oasis’s Dublin date to our filming, we were able to achieve this with the additional EU qualifications that Ben & I both have.
