Some intro text about kit

Inspire 3 / X9-8K Air

Our workhorse drones. We always have 2 Inspire 3s with us on shoots, with 2 DJI X9-8K Air cameras, 10 sets of batteries, and a full complement of lenses from 18mm to 75mm.

Both Inspire 3s have CinemaDNG & ProRes licences, we use fast SSDs for constant backup and to save waiting around at the end of filming days.

Alta 8 / Mōvi Pro

Our heavy lift systems offer great flexibility for productions to use their preferred cameras & lenses, such as the Alexa Mini LF with Signature primes or RED Monster with Cooke primes.

We fly Alta 8s as day-to-day heavy lift aircraft, while our Vulcan Ravens are super heavy lift machines so can handle loads of up to 25kg safely.

The Movi Pro gimbal provides rock-steady footage while giving up to 3 axis lens control and stop/start capability via the Movi Controller.

Mavic 3 Pro Cine

We take 2 Mavic 3 Pro Cines to each shoot – lightweight drones with 48MP Four Thirds CMOS sensor Hasselblad cameras with 24mm & 70mm lenses (as well as a 166mm lens which we use more sparingly).

All 3 lenses can film in ProRes, as well as being perfect for recces and setting up shots ready for the heavier lift systems, the M3Ps are great for single operator flying – for example amongst trees and for car tracking.

Matrice 350

Used for infrastructure inspections, this industry leading drone is capable of operating multiple sensors mounted above & below the propellors enabling full 360° vision.

Our primary inspection sensor is the H20 high resolution x200 zoom camera, both with and without thermal. The full-frame 45MP P1 camera is perfect for mapping & modelling assets, and we also have the ability to mount the L1 Lidar system along with many other bespoke sensors.

Mavic 3 Enterprise + Mavic 2 Enterprise Advanced

Used for infrastructure inspections such as power lines and mobile phone masts, particularly in congested or tight areas, we fly Mavic 3 Enterprise and Mavic 2 Enterprise Advanced drones, with thermal & visual cameras.

The addition of the RTK module enables us to survey and map large areas at speed with centimetre level accuracy.

DJI Avata 2 FPV

Our DJI Avata FPV drones head out with us on Creative shoots and, used sparingly, add a ‘first person view’ level of excitement to cinematic shots.
