In July 2023 I was commissioned to photograph the 100th anniversary Calgary Stampede – my first photographic work in Canada since the 1990s, and my first visit to a spectacle I’ve wanted to see since childhood.

Equipment used for the shoot was my Canon EOS R5Cs with a selection of lenses – this photo was taken with a RF100-500m f4.5-7.1 IS USM lens.
