Ailsa Craig (338m) this afternoon – Firth of Clyde, Scotland. Formed from the volcanic plug of an extinct volcano, Ailsa Craig lies 10 miles west of Girvan, South Ayrshire. Its lighthouse was built by Thomas Stevenson between 1883 & 1886. The Kintyre peninsula is in the background.
